Weird things are happening in the Mitchum household.
It all points to “getting older” Ah!!!!
Here are the top ten things I notice happening:
1. Wheel of fortune has somehow started showing up (and staying on) our TV
2. Up at 5:30, racing to bed by 9
3. Coffee has become a very important part of my day (which I may have to cut back on)
4. It seems like a monumental task to put my shoes on
5. Stretching is a (must do) daily activity
6. People are starting to tailgate me more often when driving (and I am not sure why they pass me with angry looks)
7. I am watching old westerns like the “Rifleman” on Saturday mornings (and longing for simpler times like that)
8. I don’t drink water after 8pm
9. My workout clothes somehow became very “uncool”
and finally…
…10. I often hear myself say, “I remember when…”
Funny thing, It doesn’t really bother me that much.
I kind of enjoy it. It’s been tough being cool for so long. It’s time to just let it go and relax a little. 😉 I’m joking about the cool part so don’t send me any hate mail.
Anyway…
…one thing that hasn’t changed is the joy of playing the piano.
