There are moments in life that you will never forget.
And when it comes to playing the piano it can be pretty amazing. Listen to Katies story below, you could do the exact same thing:
“Hi Tim, Merry Christmas greetings. It has been a little while since I wrote. A little story of today in my life. My mother developed early onset of Alzheimers and has been in a home for a year now. They have musical events every day for the residents but, my mom is unresponsive. Today two wonderful things happened. When the musicians and singers left the great music hall in the home, they left behind a few dementia patients staring into space, me and my mom. The miracle is that right in front of me in this huge room a Steinway grand piano, full size was calling my name.
I walked over opened up the piano and sat down with my mom sitting beside me, and, I started to play. I played all of the pieces I learned to do as a result of using your PianoFool’s Layer method. At first my mom just stared into space and then after about 10 minutes all of a sudden she smiled and started to move her fingers and hands as if she was playing a piano. She has never played music in her life, and I just started to cry. She spoke to me and said, “that was good, liked play”.These moments with her are fleeting and extremely are, so, I thank you for all that you do for strangers in cyberspace…….anyone who doubts your methods just needed to see my mom smile and see me play.
I played for a half hour and at the end, the few seniors left in the room, applauded and asked me to play more. Guess I have to head back to your lessons to learn more pieces. 🙂
One of the musicians who was packing up his kit, came over to me and asked me if I would be interested in coming out to his sessions on Sundays to play for a social group that they held once a month. He said that I play with such passion and was surprised at my ability without reading music or taking formal lessons and that he had never heard anyone play Rolling Stones, Wild Horses on the piano! We, consider him taught!! 🙂
Thank you Tim for helping me play, for my dream to someday play on a full size grand piano and, for my mom to smile and have a moment of joy. You rock and, so do I. 🙂 Kindest regards.Katie”
Yes you do rock Katie!
And it’s really the Layer Method that rocks.
I simply just share how I was able to do it, so you can play as well.
Christmas is right around the corner.
The New Year is coming quick.
And if you are interested in giving the Layer Method of Piano on DVD as a gift, then I have some ideas for you.
First off, I typically only sell the online version of my program, but every once in a while I will break out the DVD’s for those who simply don’t want to deal with the internet.
And this week is one of those weeks.
And there are two reasons you should take advantage of it this week.
1) I am going to eliminating the DVD program next year and going all digital/online from here on out.
and
1) You could really give a gift that lasts a lifetime as opposed to a sweater you never see them wear.
So how do you go about giving sending someone The Layer Method of Piano DVD program?
Easy.
When ordering, do everything normal, but when it comes to the Shipping Instructions, just put in the loved ones name and address.
Important!
