In fact, I am 100% positive what I am going to share with you is your sole purpose in life.
It finally came to me after searching for this answer for most of my life.
It also helps having a little 9 month old to confirm this to be truth. Watching him (Hayes) day in and day out has been the most amazing thing. He lives his sole purpose to the tee everyday.
The funny thing is, Hayes’s sole purpose is the same purpose for your life.
It comes down to one word.
It’s not about a job.
It’s not about a passion.
It’s not about a relationship.
It’s about one, simple, mind blowing truth.
(drum roll please)
Your sole purpose in life is:
Expansion.
That’s it.
It is to become more of who you are by expanding the current version of yourself. Some call it growth but I like to call it expansion.
We see it everyday in nature.
We see it everyday in children.
Then we sometimes lose sight of it as we get older and try to complicate things. We focus on getting things perfect as opposed to expansion regardless of how perfect we get things. Which never happens by the way.
So…
…let that sink in for a bit and think about how you are expanding in your life nowadays. Maybe you’re in a rut (contraction) and you aren’t really growing at all.
Then it’s time to change that.
Now, one way to expand as a person is to learn a new skill.
Like, oh I don’t know… Playing PIANO?!
Even traditional lessons will help you fulfill your life purpose, but I assure you that the Layer Method will be a lot more fun.
Songs you love, by ear, without being held to sheet music.
Sitting down with both hands and having them effortlessly flow over the keyboard.
Thats fun. And thats expansion.
