Got an email from Tim W. a while back.
It went like this:
Hi Tim,
Thanks so much for the piano program. I have mastered the songs in the program. Do you have other songs that you can provide that I can learn to play? I like your method of teaching. It easy to follow along. Thanks- Tim W.
When I read this email out loud to my wifey 😉
She literally said, ” Yeah, like 45 billion songs.”
I have a love, hate relationship with emails like Tim W. sent.
Here’s why.
I don’t know exactly how to answer them.
Here’s what Tim W. doesn’t know.
When I did my first dueling piano show, I knew less than what I teach in module #1.
Way less.
And I when started sharing how I learned to play piano, I really didn’t know what I was doing.
Flying by the seat of my pants.
Literally.
And Tim W. mastered the songs in the program.
And when I read that email to Megan, (who is a flipping genius on the piano on multiple different levels) she said, basically Tim W could now play like “45 billion songs”
Okay, it’s obviously an exaggeration, but not really.
After going through the Layer Method of Piano program you have the skills to play more songs than you could possibly spend the time to find.
It’s unlimited.
My guess is that Tim W. hasn’t spent the time needed to on the 8 Step Song Blueprint Course that is included in the Layer Method program.
Going into detail, step by step, how to learn songs you want to learn using the skills you got through the programs.
Once he does this. It’s game over. He will be overwhelmed with what songs to learn because he will see so many that he can.
I will get a hold of him and remind him.
Because I know how close he is to having that moment.
