A great friend of mine has a rockstar dad. His name is Jeff.
Being that I grew up being raised by a single mom I’ve always been drawn to good, strong, family men.
Jeff is one of those guys.
He fishes, hunts, coaches, is stern when he needs to be, but also soft when it makes sense.
He says very few words, but when he does, they mean something.
He comes from the generation that thought about what they said before they said it. LOL… Can you imagine that? 😉
And the other day my buddy was telling me a story about something that ol’ Jeff said to him after he got done playing a football game in high school.
My buddy got in the car, and ol’ Jeff simply asked him a few questions.
It went like this:
Jeff: How much did that ticket cost you for the game tonight son?
My Buddy: What?
Jeff: How much did that ticket cost you for the game tonight?
My Buddy: Dad, I don’t know what you mean?
Jeff: Well, I had to buy a spectator ticket to the game, and since all I saw you doing was watching, I figured you must have bought one too?
My Buddy: Ah, okay. Just had an off night I think?
Jeff: Well son, there are 3 types of people in this world.
1) people who make things happen.
2) people who watch what happened.
3) people who wondered what the hell happened.
I am finding this to be more true the older I get.
So whats this have to do with piano?
Well…
It’s really never too late to become what you might have been and if you want to be a piano player. Do it. Now.
It only takes 10-15 minutes of practice a day to be playing with both hands, effortlessly and having the piano sound full and awesome.
So don’t wait.
If you aren’t in the Layer Method Piano Program, get in now before it’s too late so you aren’t asking yourself later on in life.
“What the hell happened? I wanted to learn to play the keyboard or piano (which is the same thing) but time got away from me”
Don’t let that happen. Ol’ Jeff was wise.
Go here and get started today.
