If you’ve taken piano lessons before chances are you get frustrated when you take some time off.
Why?
Because you have to re-learn everything.
Not sure why this is but with traditional lessons they don’t seem to stick with you, if you know what I mean.
The Layer Method is different. And Layer Method Student Ed wants to give some advice to those who are afraid they are going to forget what they learn by going to the next level.
Ed’s words:
“Move on…
I’ll take off weeks at a time due to work, holidays and life in general. I haven’t played since last November and I could sit down at a piano right now and play any of songs that I’ve worked through.
Let go, Luke. Trust the force. Or O’beTim, for that matter. Ed”
If you aren’t trying to become Beethoven then it’s time to Let Go And Trust the Layer Method Force.
Once you do…
… you will go from wanna be piano player to a piano player who wants to learn more songs.
