I’m going down a slippery slope.
I have seen it happen with my elders, grandparents, friends folks etc. and now I think it is happening to me.
And I have noticed all these people have the same trait when it comes to making decisions
At some point they started making choices based on…
of all things…
COMFORT!!!
Yes… It’s true.
Not style, not fashion, not fit, but comfort.
And I am going “all in” with this philosophy.
Wifey isn’t necessarily loving this new me because when we first met it certainly wasn’t about comfort. All image. I was much cooler then, and WAY less comfortable.
But the truth is….
I love it.
I get why my grandpa wore velcro shoes. I get why he only had 4 shirts to choose from and was happy about it.
Today I am attending my nephews track meet here in Des Moines, Iowa.
And I will be wearing old man shoes, baggy jeans, and a very comfortable sweater.
As well as carrying my own bleacher chair with me.
I may go out of style. I feel it happening. Heck I may even get a catalog about one of those adjustable beds!
But there is one thing (that won’t go out of style) about me and my Layer Method Students.
And that is the lifelong ability to sit down at the piano on a whim and make it sound awesome with songs I love.
That’s what I teach in the Layer Method Of Piano program.
How to play for life, you don’t have to relearn anything if you stop for a few years. Playing the piano becomes as natural as putting on a pair of velcro shoes.
With what you learn in the Layer Method of Piano program you will be able to to up to any piano, at any time, sit down, and plays songs you love with both hands. Period.
You will not need to lug around a duffel bag full of sheet music.
Just you, your hands, and a random piano.
So put on that sweater nobody likes, velcro up your shoes, and sit your mom jean rear end down at the piano and start playing by going here:
