Yet another Layer Method student blames me for bringing them to tears.
Stephanie explains below:
“Tim, I put this on my Facebook page. I hope it’s okay. I’m just so grateful every time I sit down to play the piano it almost brings me to tears.” Stephanie Laundrie
Sometimes I feel like old Tom Hanks in the movie “A League Of Their Own”.
Big tough baseball guy tasked with coaching a bunch of woman in a female baseball league. At one point, tears are shed, and Tom cries out…
“There’s no crying in baseball!”
But for some reason there seems to be a lot of crying with the Layer Method of Piano. I get an email like this once a week or so explaining how emotional they get every time they sit down at the piano play.
Most likely because of the struggle you have gone through trying to play the piano. Multiple teachers, dozens of programs, and countless hours of frustrating practice that didn’t make any sense.
All of that builds up.
So when you finally start playing with both hands.
When the piano starts to sound rich and full.
And when you start to learn (on your own) songs you want to play…
…you can’t help but get emotional.
It’s a big deal.
Now, I can’t guarantee that you will get emotional, but I can guarantee you will finally play the piano.
So if you are ready to get the kleenex out, sit down at the piano and start practicing, then you can do that here by signing up here:
P.S. In case you were wondering, this is what Stephanie wrote on her Facebook page:
Have you always wanted to learn how to play piano, but just never got around to it? Now you’re getting older and you figure your “time” has passed because it just takes too long? Think again. You can actually being playing in less than a week. I learned to play a song in ONE DAY! Try this. You won’t be sorry. (I’m not getting anything out of this ad. I just really like this guy and now I’m playing the piano!)
