What if God gave us a shot clock like the NCAA has?
You know, the exact amount of time we have until it’s over…
…would that be a good thing?
I don’t know.
But lately I have been watching some of the March Madness tournament games and it got me thinkin.
All their strategies, focus, intentions, and planning is based off that shot clock every time they come down the court.
And when they run everything right, they even have some time left over.
When they don’t, they usually throw up some air ball at the last minute and look foolish.
I wonder if thats a lot like life…?
Even when they miss a shot that was a good attempt within the time frame they were given, they still look better than when they get hurried and throw up something ugly.
I wish I had one.
But alas… I don’t.
I guess we could just live like “everyday was our last”
But that’s hard to do when you don’t really believe it.
When you truly think you will wake up tomorrow thats pretty much pointless.
Or we could live for the moment and then wake up totally unprepared for the future when it actually shows up.
We are somehow forced into planning for tomorrow, hoping for it to come, while living as much for today as possible.
Pretty tough balance.
What’s all this have to do with piano you ask?
Well… today I am not sure.
But I do know one thing.
If you want to play piano, I can help.
No, I am not the world’s greatest piano teacher, I am not even considered a “great” piano player…
…but I am, by far, the best at teaching others (normal folks, not naturally gifted) how I was able to learn, hence, they learn.
Remember I failed 3 times at traditional lessons and then within 18 months of learning the Layer Method I was playing dueling piano shows for cash ola. Lot’s of it.
And I am a serious music slouch, for real!
Just think what you could do?
But you gotta sign up for crying out loud, but only if your serious about learning. It takes commitment, practice, and focus. 10-15 minutes a day for 3 months and you will be floored at what you can do. This is fact.
Step by step, day by day, easy to follow lessons are waiting for you.
