Every once is a while I will get an email from somebody that demands I change the way I do things to fit their laziness.
Unhappy persons words below:
Tim, I went to your webpage and I have to say that it is much TOOOOO long. No one wants to read a 3-4 page about a piano method. I gave up after a while. It would be more beneficial if you would get straight to the point and mentioned much earlier what the COST of your layer method is.
All that lengthy dissertation beforehand is not enticing and I doubt anyone would have the patience to read the whole thing. I don’t to read about a method, I want to get down to the brass tacks. What it is and how much it costs.
Please I beg you to rewrite that web page to something more reasonable for the reader and wannabe piano player. Talk price and briefly what the layer method is all about. From Unhappy person”
I love emails like this.
It’s reminds me of why I charge what I charge.
Why I have a long sales letter.
Why I have a 3 question limit before someone purchases.
All these things are meant to do one thing.
Weed out those who would not be successful at playing the piano.
Most likely because they don’t have the patience to learn to play piano by ear.
Think they know the best way to do things and certainly want to tell you about it and how to do it. Sure my sales letter is long, but if you can’t read through that what makes you think you will be able to commit to 10-15 minutes a day practicing going through the lessons??
Another funny thing about this email from “unhappy person”
It’s weeds out people who don’t know that they can scroll down to the bottom without reading anything to find the price. Hence, maybe learning on a computer would be too challenging for them?
I don’t know.
What I do know is this.
I have about 10,000 students who would say the Layer Method of Piano was worth the investment and time to read 3-4 pages of material to get the opportunity to finally play the piano with both hands.
There’s a reason you are still reading this.
It’s your time to play.
Go here and sign up for the Layer Method Of Piano (you can always scroll down and purchase without reading the whole thing :))
