Life goes quick.
Real quick… and the older I get the quicker it goes.
I am finding out how pretty much everything my mom told me was true. I hate to admit that.
It can be depressing sometimes how fast it goes.
But I happen to come across something that helped me tremendously to deal with this.
It’s from Dan Sullivan, and I think he calls it the age stretcher or something like that.
Anyway, here is how it works.
We all have decided based on society that we will live to around a certain age. Let’s say 70 for easy numbers.
Well, what happens when you are 69? You certainly aren’t ready to take on challenges like you were at 59.
Because at 59 you thought to yourself how you had another 10 years left for sure. Plenty of time.
So why not just decide to live to 123?
That way at 80 you feel like you can still accomplish anything because you have plenty of time.
Write that book you finally have time to write.
Start that business.
Learn to play piano. 🙂
Personally my number is 123, and people think I am crazy but I don’t care.
I got a lot of stuff to accomplish and I won’t let somebody else’s expectation steal time from me.
And so do you!
So check off “learn to play piano” from the old bucket list by signing up for my Layer Method Of Piano program.
And you know what… Who cares if it’s just a mind trick.
I guarantee you will live better if you stretch your age and start doing those things you didn’t because you thought there wasn’t enough time left.
Go Here before you THINK it’s too late to learn to play piano by ear:
