In the spirit of Labor Day let’s talk about Marlene and how she had to let her other teachers go.
In her words:
“Hello Tim- I am doing well. I am almost finished with module three. I have played piano off and on through the years with instructors that teach reading music. Your method is the first one I have found that shows how to play along and sing, which is great. I have asked different piano teachers to teach me what you are teaching, and all they do is pull out music to read from.
I absolutely love this. I am a “seasoned” person. I prefer that to “older” lol. I am loving this method. I work a full time job so practicing can be challenging at times, but I like the idea of the chart and not breaking the chain.
I won’t be able to practice on my piano this week as we are out of town, but I have access to the modules and plan on keeping current on my “air” piano!!

Couple things…
…Most traditional teachers don’t know how to teach this stuff, and it’s not their fault.
They are simply programmed to do it one way and don’t really know themselves that there is another way as well.
In fact, I have lot’s of traditional teachers now starting to use my program as an additional option for those like Marlene who don’t want to learn to read sheet music.
Also…
… Marlene talks about playing her “air piano”
…This is great because you can always practice, regardless of where you are or if you have a piano or not.
Practicing in your head after watching the videos is just as effective.
I don’t know why, it’s just one of those things.
You do this for a while and when you get back to the piano you will be WAY impress with how much better you are.
The snow will start flying around these parts soon.
Think about how fast this year went.
If you want to play piano, you best get on it.
Life is gonna leave you behind.
And in one year from now you could be playing so well you will forget there was a time in your life you couldn’t play the piano.
