“I just wanted to give you feedback because we, your students are out here in cyberspace and you cannot see or hear us.
I purchased the product in early July and started to practice daily and thought I was making great progress. Then I realized that I was struggling with hitting the wrong keys even though I know where they are located.
I discovered the problem was not that I was practicing too long, it was because I was moving along too quickly.
I was struggling because I was not concentrating on practicing the new lesson for 5 days before I move to the next lesson. Duh!
When I settled down and began to follow the practice timelines my ability to play the lesson without looking at the keys having a feeling for where the keys are, increased twofold.
The other trick you sent us is the “Practicing In Your Mind Method” that you sent. I encourage anyone taking this course to use this method when not actually practicing at the piano. It is an amazing tool and has helped me to visualize the piece in my mind before I touch the keyboard.
I would recommend your PianoFool lessons to anyone who wants to play the piano and who has not tried this product I think this is the best online piano lessons product I have purchased (and I have purchased two others that I just could not follow).
I am happy with my progress and, recently played with my brothers who were ‘non believers’ yet, quite speechless and surprised when I played for them recently. Thank you for you product and your great service Tim! It is amazing.
