If you think the Layer Method of Piano teaches you how to play a song or two, then we must clear something up, because there seems to be some confusion..
…my fault for sure.
So I want to spell it out to help you.
I often get emails asking me to create another program to learn more songs.
But here’s the deal.
After going through the Layer Method of Piano you have all the skills to play more songs than you can possible have time to learn.
We may learn through some songs, but it is definitely not about the song.
Take Myras email from this last week for example.
Her words:
“…By the way, dear Tim, I bought your program on March 7/2014. The only experience I had with music in the past was singing in a choir. I had always wanted to play piano, but didn’t know that I could. You are my inspiration! In two weeks I started to play ‘praise and worship’ songs. I would say that I have approximately 80 songs under my belt and my repertoire keeps on growing… Myra”
80 songs!!!
Some would say thats amazing.
But it’s not.
Myra is simply using the skills she learned in my program to learn whatever song she wants to play.
Once you know certain simple skills, it’s game over.
Once you understand chords, inversions, and how to look at the piano the way PianoFooler’s do , then it’s unlimited.
I did not teach Myra how to play 80 songs.
I educated her on the skills she needed, showed her how songs were really structured, and then told her to get out there and start learning on her own.
If you are skeptical, it’s okay.
But the reason I email almost everyday is because my mission is to persuade those who really want to play piano a better way to take a chance on the Layer Method.
Because if they do, they will fulfill that dream.
I have a powerful piano method, and I want to share it with you.
