Here’s whats possible in 5 days of using The Layer Method of Piano.
From Marian in her words:
“Hello, Tim! I know, I know, it’s been 5 days….I better not be on your failure list – not gonna happen!
I was so excited when I got your email Monday morning. I did not want to respond right away and just say, thank you, blah, blah, blah. I wanted to share my excitement when I give you my progress report. I finally got to sit down at 9:10 pm.
NIght 1: Read your message, scanned crucial chord chart and started on lesson 1, continued to lesson 2, then 3, 4 & 5. I do play the piano a little bit and this was the most fun I’ve ever had!. I played for 30 minutes then read what there was to learn about the chord chart and lessons 1-5. The inverted chords confuse me a little bit but I’m not worried about it. I then went on to watch the bonus lesson-I was blown away! I told myself “Self, you’re gonna learn that tomorrow.”
Day 2: Played lessons1-5 + bonus. Holy Moly! Aha-ha-ha! Noodle-ing (did that come from noodles?) was the best part. I played it over and over. I was so proud of myself.
Day 3: On my home from a dental appointment, Rhianna’s Stay played on the radio. I thought that would be fun to learn. I got home and looked up the piano chords and started playing. Where did that boost of confidence come from? wondered what you would think about it so I practiced Let It Be as well.
Day 4: Practiced 30 minutes and played every chance I got even if it was only 5 minute gaps in my day. There’s no stopping me now!
Day 5: I’m hooked! OMG! This is amazing!
Thank you so much for sharing your gift of music with me. I used to really love music but it only loved me back a little. Now I feel so blessed that when I play, God will hear beautiful music and not have to wear earplugs. You are a blessing to the world of music! Take care.”
Go get em Marian!
